The State of the Art Website is hosted by NASA Ames Research Center Mission Design Division. For general questions about this website (i.e: general questions regarding smallsat engineering, workshop, component function, etc.) please send an email to arc-sst-soa-contact@mail.nasa.gov.

If you have a comment about the content of the site, such as corrections or additions to a chapter, please use the mailing list located at the bottom of each chapter. All submitted comments/feedback will need to reviewed and/or verified by a NASA  Subject Matter Expert (SME) before incorporation and they may require to contact you if necessary. In regards to updating/adding TRL values of a specific technology/component, the SME will require evidence of TRL value and will utilize a verification process based off of current NASA TRL definitions located in the NASA Processes and Requirements (NPR 7123.1B), see link below. For some technology, radiation testing will be inquired by SME.

  • For updating/adding TRL values: Please supply sufficient evidence for the value (see NASA Ames Center TRL Checklists for TRL verification guidance.)
  • Image and/or Information change: Please provide corrected image/info inform of link or document.
  • Please keep in mind this website is open to the public – any submitted information should not be ITAR sensitive.
